The Fall Cat is coming.

"It’s happening! I’m nearly finished with the Fall Cat, and lately my studio has been full of daydreams about crisp air, changing leaves, and all the cozy things that come with autumn. He doesn’t have a name quite yet. I’ve learned not to rush these things—usually, if I spend enough time with a painting, it tells me what it wants to be called."

Alison Flannery is a Colorado artist working in oil, collage and paper assemblage—and a firm believer that the world gets considerably more interesting when you pay attention.
Alison's work wanders through nature, memory and imagination, populated by wild creatures, quiet landscapes, bits of paper, unexpected stories and the occasional plastic dinosaur. Mostly, she's interested in that peculiar place where the ordinary brushes up against a little bit of magic."
